I LOVE NEW SHOES!
I love to try new shoes & I also love to review new shoes.
Some people tell me I should really stick to one brand or one type of running shoe so my body doesn’t have to constantly readjust to something new, but I say WHATEVER to that.
♥ So what is my newest shoe fetish? ♥
♥ NEW BALANCE ZANTE FRESHFOAM SHOES! ♥
Not only am I madly in love with the pattern but the colour just kills me! This particular colour I could only find in South Africa, which made me want them even more, naturally & they are so beautiful. I can’t stop staring at them.
Every time I would go to the mall I would just watch them in the window of the New Balance store, as they whispered to me, “Pick me… Pick me… You know I’ll make everything more awesome!“ So after the 50th time my husband had to pull me away, he finally surprised me with them and I couldn’t be MORE EXCITED!
**Side note: I bought a pair of black Zante’s back in America in November (shown below) so I can honestly say I am very pleased with this shoe after spending many runs with it & can complete a full review of my experience with them!
Let’s get to the good stuff….
What makes them so great?
-
The FreshFoam sole is so comfortable, no matter where your foot lands, there is cushion there to support it.
-
The toe has a spring feeling which helps the heel to toe transition feel smoother and quicker.
-
The breathable mesh on top is nice for when you are training outside in heat. I run quite a bit here in Cape Town and the temps have been SO HOT this summer and when I feel that breeze come through my shoe and hit my toes, I can’t even explain to you how incredible it feels!
-
They are so lightweight it’s MADE for fast running. Nothing about it slows you down or holds you back and you don’t get that heavy feeling on your feet after running for awhile.
-
They are hella cute and the colours that Zantes come in are amazing, so they can suit anyone no matter your style!
If you have any questions regarding these shoes, let me know, I am always happy to help with advice & suggestions based on what type of training you do!
The end.
